Seen at the Croydon Cat Club Show on 15/2/97 :-

Mr Cohen's - Beegee Picaloe 13c5 at five and a half months old winning his Open.

Beegee Picaloe - kittenThis handsome baby's heritage lies with the Cream Persian outcross Sunsilk Cream Nicholas - the starting point behind the 'Reds' from the well known Panjandrum cattery. Blended together with the Hilken Red & Red Tabby lines which were bred down from the household pet Red Dawn.

      Mrs Sharpe's - Aestheticat Flash Dance 13c5

Aesthetikat Flash DanceAged six years four months, and a grand fellow for his age; so rare to see mature cats on the showbench. This boy was first in his Open but his Judge chose to withhold the Challenge Certificate, possibly for lack of contrast, although this colouring should be expected in a Red of this age. In my book he makes up for what he may lack, by being a truly Massive example of the breed. He is also one of the few entire males descending from the outcross done by Ken Clarke (Hilken) using the household pet Red Dawn (Red & White).

      Mrs Dowsett's - Brivale Little Mismuffit 13c7

Brivale MissmuffitAt one and a half years old, this little lady is a lovely example of her new colour, she has unfortunately been extremely unlucky in competition recently, although she does have one of the three required Challenge Certificates necessary to make Champion here in the UK. We are among the many who expect her to achieve her potential very soon.

This girl descends on her pedigree from the outcross done by Mrs. Sayer (Sayella) to the Cream Persian Sunsilk Cream Nicholas.
