Rishabha Birmans
      Our Showcats
      Addeilo Rishabhas Red
      We purchased our first Birmans
in 1990 and quickly moved into the
      'new colours' when Addeilo Rishabhas
      Red 13c5
came to live with us aged
10 months. 'Leo' became the first
      Red Pt. entire male
      to win three Intermediate Certificates
when the colours were accepted for
      Provisional Status by the GCCF.
He has a super temperament and
although not the standard in the UK
      - a beautiful Roman nose!

'Leo' has sired a number of show
      winning Birmans, among
      them our own adorable

      Champion Rishabha Marmalady 13c5.

      Ch. Rishabha Marmalady
      Ch. Adinnlo Bananarama
      Champion Addinlo Bananarama 13c5
(now neutered & in a pet home). 'Rama'
as he is known at home, was unbeaten
on the showbench in the 1994/1995 show
year when the 'Reds' first achieved
Championship status here in the UK.
He became the first Red Champion
(male or female) in the UK, among
his wins for the year were his
Supreme Open, Birman Cat Club Open
& N.B.I.S. and National Cat Club Open.
He is also the sire of the
Birman Cat Club Best Red Female 1997
      Gd. Ch. Adhirlo Dawn Maiden
      owned by Mrs. Kay Stephen.

When mated to 'Lady' they gave us:-

      Champion Rishabha Crazy Horse 13c5
      (now in a Pet Home)

      Birman Cat Club
      Best Red Male 1997

        and Champion Rishabha Papoose 13c5,
(owned by Ann Doble) All these Red Pt. cats are non-agouti and have no Tabby (Agouti) in their pedigrees.

      Ch. Addeilo Cameow Coquette
We are however, also very interested in Tabbies,
and until our move to Australia
were proud to own the lovely

      Ch. Addeilo Cameow Coquette 13c18

Birman Cat Club Best Tortie Tabby 1997

She was the first Tortie Tabby to be shown
at a Championship show in the U.K.

      Dubrova Rocketman @ 3 months
      Rocky @ 5+ months

We decided to create a new line, so undertook
an outcross to a Brown Tabby Persian, using 'Leo'

      as the sire. Our F1
      Rishabha Chimera was a
Blue Mackerel Tabby, who weighed in at 10lbs 7 ozs
at just seven months, when he sired three litters.
The F2 girls went to live with our friends Jane &
Barrie Tackley (Klassyklogs) and Pam Collins
(Dubrova). We now have the third generation
      back home with us.

In the UK the third generation is
allowed to be shown, and we look
forward to our first show with
our new baby & future stud
